The following are the categories of solar cells for sale: (They are all full size Everbright cells)

Untabbed, Clipped tabs, and Pre-tabbed.

Untabbed: Classic Everbright cells that we have been selling, and these cells have never been tabbed or used, neither front nor back side has been soldered.

Short tabs: Tabbing wires have been firmly soldered onto the bus bars on the front but clipped (total length 3 1/4 inches), but the backside of solar cells has not been touched by any means. The tabs have been clipped, and you will need to extend the tabbing wires by soldering a 3-inch long tabbing wire to the wires that stick out of the cell.

Pre-tabbed: solar cells have full length (6 inch) tabs that have been soldered on the front, but in some cases the tabs might be a little loose on a small section of soldered wires.

Each of the above three categories of solar cells come in three different grades:

Grade A-: Cells are very wholesome with the possibility of small chips (typically one) the size of 1/8 x 1/4 inches. In actuality, our customers report that our cells are better than competitors'.

Grade B: Can have chips that are 1/4 x 1/2 in sizes or smaller, or another minor defect, but the output should not be affected much. Please keep in mind that all of our cells' broken corners do not cut into 'finger lines' of solar cells that much.

Grade B- : Broken corner or chips between 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches. Please keep in mind again that that cells' broken corners again do not cut in to the 'finger lines' that much. There may or may not be other cosmetic defects too for Grade B- cells.

All Grade A-, B, and B- solar cells are wholesome enough they can be put on solar panels without making the panels look too ugly. Those that we deem too broken are not sold here.
